Between Saturday 4th and Sunday 12th September 2010, we will ride from the most easterly point of the British Isles to the most Westerly point, some 584 miles. We call this Coast to Coast... to Coast to Coast.
The route will cover 584 miles, through 3 countries in just 8 days. Starting in Lowestoft in East Anglia, we will cycle west across England before cycling the breadth of Wales. A boat crossing will transport us from Fishguard in Wales to Rosslare in the Republic of Ireland. From there we cycle the breadth of Ireland until we reach its most westerly point at Dingle Bay.
The route has been planned and arranged by Classic Tours, who are highly experienced in organising charity bike rides. They have devised a carefully chosen route avoiding heavy traffic and busy towns where possible, while still giving riders some wonderful rewards along the way.
Classic Tours are also taking care of all of the travel and accommodation arrangements and providing all of the ride support including a truck, bike mechanic and doctor.
Our thanks to Classic Tours for their support throughout the 2010 event.
